Founded in 1963 by homemaker Jean Nidetch, Weight Watchers is an internationally recognized weight loss company. It offers various products and services, including weight loss,  fitness, and mindsets, including its comprehensive diet program.

PREVIOUS LOGO

Weight Watchers’ previous logo is old-fashioned and inconspicuous. To redesign the logo for a company, we must first uncover more about its target audience. People who care about their body and who want to eat healthily would be interested in our products. Thus, a new logo featuring vivid colors and a fresh look would be likely to attract customers.

REDESIGNED LOGO

The inspiration behind the new logo design is the vintage-style weighing scale. People starting a new diet usually check their weight several times a day thanks to their anxiety about successful weight loss. No matter how hard you try, however, a human being cannot healthily lose weight in a few days. Weight Watchers is a well-known brand that sells products and services that help people to lose weight. The center of the new logo features vivid colors, which could potentially motivate people to live their lives with a healthy body.

The new logo design maintains the original shade of blue to increase brand recognition, with the "W" in the center incorporating the weighing scale shape and vivid color.
